Believe it or not it, did not. It had a 1.97 litre displacement according to Wikipedia . So I guess you could say BMW is going back to their roots with this recent naming insanity.

Actually an EMW (Eisenacher Motorenwerk), not a BMW. Plus points for rarity value (most have been “magically” turned into BMWs).
